Spring 2014 HUM 330: Medieval Humanities

Comparative Humanities presents HUM 330: Medieval Humanities CRN 26271

HUM 330 will study the the subject of beauty in prominent cultures' sacred art, literature, and musical works created in the between 300 and 1400 c.e.

Classes will be Tuesdays/Thursdays 12:30-1:45 pm. 

Dr. Leslie Blacksberg will be instructing.

CHU major Renee Dyehouse has been selected to present her project “Religious Disparity in India and Pakistan: The Prospect of Peace through the Literary Views of Salman Rushdie and Manil Suri” at the 2014 Posters at the Capital event in Frankfort, KY.

U.S. Criticial Language Scholarship Program visits EKU Japanese classes

Marlene Davis, program assistant for the US State Department’s Critical Language Scholarship Program (CLS) which is run by the American Councils for International Education, gave presentations about the program to three classes (JPN101, 102 and 202) on October 22 and also gave an info session on the Noel Studio that afternoon.
